A man has left people stunned by shaving off his long beard after 20 years of growing it, and the transformation is almost unbelievable.
Facial hair can really alter a person's appearance. While some men love a little stubble, others spend years growing a long beard. Some people have even toutedthe possible health benefits that can come with growing out your facial hair. But one man has now shown just how different a beard can make someone look after deciding to shave his off, two decades after he first started to grow it. Taking to a Reddit forum dedicated to facial hair, the man showed off his dramatic transformation after deciding to ditch his beard for the first time.
"After 20 years of constantly having a beard, ive gone to a stache," he captioned the post as he went on to share before and after photos.

In the first photo, the man is seen posing for a selfie in a car. He had his hair covered by a cap, which he wore backwards along with a pair of sunglasses on top.
The man also had a long beard which reached down past his collar bones. His moustache was long enough to cover his top lip.
It's hard to believe that the second photo is even of the same man. Now sitting inside, the man's previously covered hair had been brushed over to the right and he was now sporting an impressive moustache after having trimmed the rest of his beard down to stubble.
Other Reddit users soon took to the comments to share their thoughts, with many being gobsmacked by how different the man looked after shaving off his beard.
"Whoa!!!!! You just shave 20 years off!!!" one person jokingly said, while another user wrote: "Looking good dude!"
"I was going to say, No Don't! But now that I see what you've been hiding," a third person said.
Someone else wrote: "I love how you have a better beard than 75% of people on here and you’re calling it a ‘stache only."
Another eagle-eyed user also asked if he had dyed his facial haikr, as it now looked more brown than the first photo. To this, the original user revealed: "I did. My natural color with just a mustache didnt work."
"Your stache is one of the best I've seen in a very long time congratulations!" another user wrote.
Someone else added: "Can absolutely pull both off and i am jealous."
